Terms of use

Last updated 2026-07-26 · applies to Tilt Building for iPhone

The short version: the game is licensed to you, not sold. Everything you can buy is cosmetic and lives inside the app. Apple takes the payments and handles the refunds. There is no account to lose and nothing about you is collected — see the privacy policy.

Who you are agreeing with

Tilt Building is made and published by Nick Polkovnikov. Installing or using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not, delete the app — that is the whole remedy, and it costs nothing.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Tilt Building on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies in full alongside this page. You may not resell the app, decompile it, or ship modified copies of it.

The App Store is the only place the app is distributed from. A build obtained anywhere else is not ours and is not covered by anything on this page.

Purchases, gold and gems

Every in-app purchase is cosmetic. Gems and the Starter Pack and Supporter Bundle unlock skins, palettes, sound packs and a gold multiplier. Nothing purchasable changes the physics, the scoring or the difficulty, and nothing is required to finish anything in the game.

Gold and gems are not currency. They have no value outside the app, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts or devices. They are a licence to use in-game content, granted for as long as the app runs on your device.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are set in App Store Connect and Apple may show them differently in your region and currency. Purchases restore through StoreKit — the “Restore purchases” button asks Apple, not us.

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are Apple’s to give, not ours: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase failed to deliver what it promised, write to support@tiltbuilding.com — we cannot issue the refund, but we can fix the bug and tell you what to send Apple.

Your progress

Progress, skins and balances are stored on your iPhone. There is no account and no server holding a copy, so deleting the app, resetting the device, or losing the phone loses the local save. Purchased entitlements can be restored through Apple; earned gold, levels and unlocked skins cannot.

Game Center

The leaderboard and achievements run on Apple’s Game Center and are subject to Apple’s terms. Scores that were obtained by tampering with the app, the device clock or the submitted values may be removed from the leaderboard, and we may ask Apple to reset a board that has been spoiled.

The game will change

Skins, prices, difficulty values and rewards can be added, rebalanced or retired in later versions. If a paid item is ever removed, the version you bought keeps working on the build you have. We can also stop distributing or supporting the app; if that happens, the copy already on your device keeps running until iOS stops supporting it.

As-is

The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It is a game about a tower falling over — it is not fit for any purpose beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

This website

The pages on tiltbuilding.com are static and informational. The text and artwork on them, and the app’s icon, name and screenshots, belong to Nick Polkovnikov; the press kit exists so journalists can use the assets on it to write about the game, which is welcome.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without affecting consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the app after that means the new version applies.
