Tilt isn’t doing anything

Check that the tower is actually settled — a block in mid-air responds first. If nothing leans at all, close the app fully and reopen it so it can restart motion updates. Tilt strength is also a slider in Game Tuning; turn it up if the tower feels glued down.

My score didn’t reach the leaderboard

Scores need Game Center. Open Settings → Game Center on your iPhone and make sure you are signed in, then play one run — the game submits your best score again on the next game over.

I bought gems and don’t see them

Gems are added the moment Apple confirms the purchase. If the app was interrupted mid-purchase, open the Store and tap Restore purchases; StoreKit re-delivers anything unfinished. If they are still missing, email us the App Store receipt and we will sort it out.

I reinstalled and my progress is gone

Progress is stored on the device, so deleting the app deletes levels, gold, gems and owned skins. One-time purchases (Starter Pack, Supporter Bundle) always come back with Restore purchases.

The game feels too hard or too fast

Open Game Tuning from the main menu and pick a lower preset — Zen gives you a six-second drop window and a platform at 90% width. Every individual constant is a slider if a preset is not quite right.

I want a refund

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose the purchase.

Reporting a bug

The fastest fixes come from three lines: what you did, what happened, and what you expected. If you can add the iPhone model, the iOS version and the app version, even better. Screen recordings are gold — physics bugs are hard to describe in words.

FAQ

Before you write

What is Tilt Building?

A physics game for iPhone. Numbered blocks fall onto a narrow floating platform, equal numbers merge into the next one up (2 and 2 make 4), and the tower you are building can topple at any moment. Nothing sits on a grid — every block is a real physics body.

How do you play it?

A block drifts left and right above the platform. Tap anywhere to drop it. Wait too long and it drops on its own, right where it was — so the whole skill is timing. Tilt the phone to steer the falling block and to lean everything already stacked.

Does tilting the phone actually do something?

Yes. The game reads the device roll from CoreMotion and tilts the gravity vector of the whole physics world, so a tilt pushes the falling block sideways and leans the settled tower with it. Lean too far and the stack walks off the edge.

Can I pause a run?

There is a pause button for interruptions, but the drop timer is deliberate: a block will not wait for you forever. The tension is the point.

What are stages?

Difficulty ramps with your score, not with time. Stage 1 starts at 0 and Stage 10 begins at 3,400 points. From Stage 8 the platform itself starts to lean, which is when towers usually come down.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The game plays fully offline and keeps your best score on the device. Game Center scores and achievements sync the next time you are online and signed in.

Is Game Center required?

No. If you skip it you still get a local high score, levels, skins and everything else — you just will not appear on the global board.

What is the Game Tuning panel?

Every gameplay constant — gravity, drop window, drift speed, platform width, tilt strength, game speed — is exposed as a slider, with ten presets from Zen to Insane. Any run submits to the same all-time leaderboard, whatever preset you are on.

What are gold and gems?

Gold is earned by playing and buys most of the locker. Gems are the scarce currency for a handful of Legendary items; you get them from level milestones, or you can buy them.

Can I unlock everything without paying?

Most of it, yes — the large majority of skins are gold-priced, and level milestones hand out free skin tokens, gold and gems. A few Legendary palettes are gem-priced, so getting those without buying gems takes a while.

Does it work on iPad or Android?

iPhone only for now, portrait, iOS 17 or later. There is no Android version.

What data does the game collect?

None. There is no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, no account and no server of ours — progress lives on your device, and Game Center and purchases are handled by Apple. See the privacy policy for the full text.
